I am a medical and biological illustrator who emphasizes storytelling and problem solving. I received my masters degree in medical illustration from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Before that, my undergraduate training was in biology at High Point University.
My focus is telling stories and solving visual problems, and I am committed to filling in knowledge gaps in the field of medicine surrounding race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual health. I have experience creating resources for lay audiences, such as patients and the general public, and as specialized audiences, such as doctors, nurses and nursing students, and other healthcare workers.
I am trained in traditional techniques and digital techniques, and I am experienced creating both 2D and 3D content.
